The first course in a two year sequence of College Tech Prep courses
where students will develop the skills and knowledge related to the
field of marketing and management.
They will focus on the application
of communication skills, use of scientific problem solving, and application
of technology to marketing situations and problems. This will represent
a rigorous marketing program where students will acquire specific
skills needed for success in business today. Technical skills and
knowledge include, but are not limited to: Market Researcher, Product
Brand manager, Product Line Development Manager, Focus Group Moderator,
Customer Service Representative, Buyer, Account Representative, Interviewer,
Marketing Coordinator, Promotion Coordinator, Industrial Designs
Marketing Director, and Client Management Specialist.

that emphasizes leadership development, social intelligence, vocational
