PEER TO PEER is a club for students who want to help fellow students. Students in the club promote and plan activities for RED RIBBON WEEK and PROM PROMISE. These two events are aimed at drug and alcohol abstinence. Students also attend training to become a member of Partners Against Hate. The "Partmers" then go to the Middle School and present lessons to 7th and 8th graders on how to prevent bullying. The students also work on activites for the high school to help prevent bullying.
In the works is a plan to train students to become peer listeners. This group will be available to listen to their peer's problems and concerns. Sometimes it helps just to have a neutral party listen!
If you are a student who likes to help others, join us. Just attend the meetings after school and listen for upcoming training sessions.
