Dear Parents:
The Ross Local School District relies heavily on school buses
to provide a safe means of getting students to and from our
schools. In fact, we are responsible for the safe transportation
of over 2,000 students each and every school day. The
district realizes that child care needs may require students
be picked up and/or delivered at a location
different from their
home addresses. This is considered “special transportation” and
should be communicated to the transportation department as early
as possible so appropriate bus routes can be established.
If your child requires special transportation needs for next school
year, forms are available at Elda Elementary, Morgan Elementary,
and Ross Middle School. Forms can also be requested from our transportation
department at 738-2900 or submitted at www.rossrams.com.
All
special transportation forms are due by July 1st, 2011 in order
to be placed on a route for the first day of school.
After school starts, any non-emergency special transportation
requests will require two working days to arrange and confirm.
We will still accommodate emergency situations that require
special transportation on any given day.
If high school transportation is needed for next year,
your request needs to be submitted before July 1st, 2011.
Thank you for your cooperation and help in making Ross Schools’ bus
transportation as safe and efficient as possible.

Director of Transportation
