The Ross Local School District will name Mr. Jeremy Frazier as its next Treasurer pending Board of Education approval on May 20th, 2021.

Mr. Frazier comes to Ross from the Hamilton City Schools where he’s served as the Assistant Treasurer since 2017. Prior to his time in Hamilton, he spent six years working for the Butler County Auditor’s Office in a variety of accounting and management positions. He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting & Business from the College of Mt. St. Joseph and a master’s degree in Accountancy from Northern Kentucky University. He is also a Certified PublicAccountant.

Ross Board of Education Vice-President Amy Webb said this about the hiring of Mr. Frazier as the Treasurer for the District. “Jeremy’s in-depth knowledge, background, and experience in school finance will be a tremendous asset to our district. I personally want to extend a warm welcome to Jeremy and his family and am looking forward to working with him to maintain our fiscal responsibilities.”

RLSD Board Member Andrew Schnell echoed those sentiments. “Jeremy has a stellar reputation for the work he has done for the Hamilton City Schools. We are very excited and privileged to be able to hire a Treasurer with such a wealth of knowledge and experience, to lead our district’s finances. We’re also thankful to Chris Brown, Superintendent of the Butler County ESC for his leadership in our search process.”

Hamilton City Schools Superintendent Mike Holbrook noted “Jeremy's collaborative leadership skills and ability to creatively problem-solve will be missed in our District. The Ross Local School District is hiring not only a bright financial mind and extremely capable Treasurer but also a tremendous leader who will be an asset to the District.”

Frazier had this to say about joining the Ross Local Schools. “As a lifelong resident of Butler County, I know first hand the outstanding reputation the Ross Local School District has locally and state-wide. I’m blessed the Board of Education has entrusted me to be part of the leadership team. My family and I are very much looking forward to what the future holds for the Ross Local Schools.”

Mr. Frazier will officially begin July 1, 2021.
