Ross Local School District earns 5 stars on 2022-2023 State Report Card
The Ross Local School District led the way in Butler County on the 2022-2023 Ohio School Report Cards released today. The Ross Local School District was the only school district to earn a five-star rating.
This is the first year that school districts and schools received an overall rating on the report card, with a maximum rating of five stars available. A rating of three stars means that a school district or building meets state standards.
The report contains ratings in six components, as outlined in the graphic below. The overall rating is a compilation of ratings in five reported components. An additional component is reported but not factored into the overall rating.
Ross Local School District scored as follows in each of the components:
From Dr. Chad Konkle, RLSD Superintendent: “In the Ross Local School District, we’ve historically performed very well on the State Report Card, but financial difficulties over the last two years have threatened that tradition. The report card ratings released today confirm that our standard of excellence remains unchanged, which is a testament to the tremendous students, staff, and families of the Ross Local School District.”
From RLSD Board of Education President, Sean Van Winkle: “With the recent State Report Card the Ross Community should be extremely proud. We have excellent families, students, staff and leadership. Dr. Konkle has remarkable vision and leadership for our district. The recent results on the state report card are one of many indicators that he has our district in a position of strength and is continuing to nurture successful students and making the Ross community a great place to live.”
