COVID-19 Update
March 12, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Together, we are facing an unprecedented health crisis in our community. In our response to COVID-19, we must depend on the knowledge of the Butler County Board of Health, Ohio Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control as well as our elected officials. On March 12, Governor Mike DeWine announced that the state is closing all K-12 schools at this time for a 3 week period starting Monday, March 16th. Per the governor's order the situation will be re-evaluated after 3 weeks to determine if it’s safe to go back.

Starting Monday, March 16, Superintendent Scott Gates and the Ross School Board will close all Ross Local Schools for a 3 week period as the Governor ordered. This necessary action is an effective public health strategy to disrupt widespread infection.

Beginning Friday, March 13, all district activities including school day instruction, home instruction, preschool, athletics/sports, enrichment, latchkey, etc. are canceled until further notice.

More school resources will be provided on Friday, March 13 and we will post the information on our website, social media, and email.

Please continue to check your email and the District social media for further updates.
