Welcome to the Ross Local School District’s website. I hope you will find the information you are seeking with regard to our outstanding school district. We are excited and ready to work with the wonderful students of the Ross community.  We recently completed the strategic planning process and are very proud to share our vision, mission, beliefs and tagline with you.  This plan will guide the district forward as we work to support every student who enters our doors.

Vision Statement

The Ross Local School District is a community of learners empowered to discover their purpose, to aspire to solve relevant and real-world challenges, and to recognize that we are better together than on our own.

 

Mission Statement

The Ross Local School District will recognize the uniqueness and potential of all learners and will develop each one academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Belief Statements

Students deserve exemplary educational experiences which will allow them to success and excel in our ever-changing world;

Staff established and promotes a culture of support and acceptance for all learners, always keeping students in the center of their focus;

Family had the most direct and lasting impact on a child’s learning and is a critical partner in the success of students, schools, and the District;

Community partnerships provide crucial opportunities for guidance and mentorship as a path towards discovering each student’s purpose.
