School Year Extended

Due to the Ross Local School District missing three more days of school than the allowed five calamity days, the 2013- 2014 school year has been extended. The last day of school for students in Preschool through Grade Eleven will now be June 9, 2014. The last day for seniors will now be June 4, 2014 and the last work day for teachers will now be June 10, 2014. Although Governor Kasich recently signed a law extending four additional calamity days to school districts, the four days can be utilized only after a district has missed more than nine days of school. This does not apply to our school district.
