Ross Local School District

Don enters his fourth year in the Ross Local School District and third as the Head Cross Country Coach. He has been an Assistant Coach for Ross Track and Field since 2023, focusing mainly on Middle and Distance Runners, and Assistant XC Coach in 2024. He heads the Youth Program at Ross "Running Rams" for grades K-6.

Don has been involved with Running since 1972, and Coaching since 1982 at the club, youth, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. He has kept up on the science of running and training, through consistent training. The most recent traveling opportunity to Iten, Kenya in December of 2025 for advancing his coaching skills by learning from the Kenyan Coaches at the HATC center for training (focusing on youth training K-12 while in Kenya).

Don is an avid continuous improvement coach focusing on providing the best training solutions from beginner to advanced at the Ross School District in Middle Distance and Distance Running. Don continues training and competing in his age group, trail racing, triathlons, biking, and endurance events.
