At Ross Local School District, we are proud to serve our community by welcoming all students who reside within our district boundaries—whether they are just beginning their educational journey in preschool or kindergarten, or joining us at a later grade. We are committed to meeting each student where they are and supporting their growth every step of the way. We are honored to welcome new kindergarten families to Ross Local School District! Kindergarten is a special milestone, and we’re proud to offer two options for families at both Elda and Morgan Elementary Schools:
Online registration for incoming kindergartners for the next school year typically begins in early February. Specific details and registration dates will be shared on this page during enrollment season.
Age Requirement: To enroll for the upcoming school year, children must be five years old on or before August 1.

At Ross Local School District, we understand that every family’s needs are unique. That’s why we offer the opportunity for families who live within our district boundaries to request an intradistrict transfer. We’re proud to provide this flexibility whenever possible, while continuing to prioritize class size, building capacity, transportation and student services.
Families interested in pursuing an intradistrict transfer must complete the Intradistrict Transfer Form and submit it to the principal of their home school by April 8 of each year.

We are proud to welcome our youngest learners and their families to Ross Local School District! Our half-day preschool program, located at Morgan Elementary School, is available to all families who reside within the district boundaries.
Our preschool program is designed to spark curiosity, build foundational skills, and foster a love of learning in a supportive, nurturing environment. Led by caring, experienced educators, Ross preschool provides developmentally appropriate instruction to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond

When transferring your child from another school district, please note that we must send them a records request, so having the accurate school name and address where your child previously attended is of utmost importance.

Welcome to Ross Local School District! We’re excited to partner with you in your child’s educational journey. Whether you're enrolling a student in grades 1–12 or kindergarten during the school year, we’ve made the process simple and convenient through our contactless enrollment system.
Please note: If you are enrolling your child in kindergarten for the next school year, our Kindergarten Registration event begins each February. Details about the upcoming registration window will be shared on this page and on our social media channels beginning in January. This event uses a separate enrollment form, which will be available on this Enrollment page once registration opens.

Enroll for Kindergarten during the current school year
If your child will need to be transported to or from an address other than your home (such as a daycare or sitter), you’ll need to submit a Special Transportation Request Form by July 1 for each school year. Please find that form on our Transportation page.

As a final step, families will complete required school forms in FinalForms, our secure online system. Please note: FinalForms is not part of the registration process but is required for all students after enrollment is complete. After completing the enrollment process, all new families will need to set up an account with FinalForms—our secure online system for submitting and managing school forms. FinalForms streamlines the process by allowing you to fill out and electronically sign all required documents in one convenient place, saving time while ensuring your child’s information is accurate and up to date.
FinalForms is used for student information, health forms, emergency contacts, and more. If your child will participate in athletics, FinalForms also handles all necessary athletic forms and permissions.

Ross Local Schools uses ParentSquare as our primary school-to-home communication tool. Families can customize how often they receive notifications while still getting urgent alerts like school delays and closures. To get started, sign up using the email address we have on file. If you need help with your account, please contact your child's school office.
To request a transcript, education verification, or student record from Ross High School, please visit our Transcript & Records Verification page. Current students can request transcripts through their counselor or the guidance office. For former students or third-party verification requests, please allow up to five business days for processing. All requests must include a signed release form for processing.
If you are considering purchasing a home in the Ross Local School District, please verify that the property is located in our school district by visiting the Butler County Auditor's website, and entering the address into the property search.
High school students, private school students, and any student needing transportation to or from an address other than their home (such as a babysitter or daycare) must complete a Special Transportation Request each school year.
